One thing they left out; &lt;em&gt;user testing&lt;/em&gt;.  Someone not involved with creating the website, and who is not an expert, needs to test the thing while others silently watch and take notes.  Then they ask questions: &quot;Why did you click on that?&quot; and so forth.</description>
